Time has passed since I visited the DC Design House last month but it's interior and exterior visually remain with me.
Viewing the guest sitting room designed by Barbara Franceski resonates with the classical design aesthetic I so admire yet her talent to incorporate a modern touch brings us the best in eclectic design.
From the framed intaglios and busts to the contemporary flair of the lamb's wool seat, ceiling light fixture and tub chairs.
The mix of styles work in harmony in this sitting area. There are so many great features to see. With the DC Design House now closed, you must visit Ms. Franceski's website portfolio for more photos on this space.
I have enjoyed the camaraderie with Ms. Franceski via Twitter and admire the photos from her website portfolio.
As a metropolitan resident of DC, it makes me feel good to know we have numerous talented interior designers in our area.
Let me warn you that the DC Design House was large, so there is still more to share.
