Great design comes in many shapes and forms. And Wedgwood is no stranger to great design.
Their Jasperware is a classic and has existed for over 200 years.
I'm not a collector but have received some nice pieces as gifts over the years.
I do search for their black Jasperware on eBay every-so-often and am tempted to collect a few pieces.
Their line of china is also very sophisticated yet understated in style. And it never looks outdated.
Wedgwood Blue goes hand-in-hand with Tiffany Blue as a color described over the years.
For admirers of great design and tablescapes as well as collectors, a new book will be released on June 2 called At Home with Wedgwood: The Art of the Table.
I have not personally seen this book yet but the cover alone is an eye-catcher. And I am a sucker for beautiful book covers.
Have a lovely weekend, friends.
