I've delighted in his perspective on design with each show, viewing it online as well as on TV. The lessons I've learned already, like careful consideration to the height of the ceiling when contemplating lighting options. You see, I was considering placing a chandelier in our master bath at some point, but never took much thought into the height of our ceiling.
After viewing this episode of RMS, I now realize our ceiling is too low and I know my guy would not appreciate banging his head into the chandelier every time he goes to brush his teeth. That doesn't mean I cannot have a decorative ceiling light similar to what was used in the RMS episode one day. It certainly alleviates the height issue.
This is just one of many lessons learned I've experienced over the years as a HGTV viewer. I became a faithful viewer the day HGTV made its debut onto cable television with Interiors by Design, hosted by Chris Madden being my favorite show.
Today, not only do I get a dose of Rate My Space on TV, I also get the enjoyment of perusing spaces that viewers like us can upload photos to the RMS website to share and inspire one another.
And Angelo hosting a blog is a great fringe benefit. I'm enjoying what technology has to offer and what Design Geeks are willing to share.
