Bringing together a combination of colors is frightening to me. My confidence is lacking in that area which partially explains my love of neutrals and my inability to coordinate patterned papers while scrapbooking (love those kits).
I require inspiration in large quantities to help provide reassurance when it comes to decisions on wall color. A consultation with a decorator helped me land on wall color for our living & dining rooms (Duron Ecru) and hallway (Duron Netsuke) some time ago. (Note: I understand Duron & Sherwin Williams are one-in-the-same and offer the same colors.)
And after spending hours on RMS seeking ideas for our bedroom, I discovered someone who applied Netsuke wall color throughout their home.
It reminded me how much I love the color while simultaneously admiring her lovely home.
The idea of bringing Netsuke wall color into our bedroom is on the short list as well as Benjamin Moore's Goldtone. And for a deep shade, I'm considering Sherwin Williams Baguette.
There's also Behr's Garden Wall which would introduce green into the room.
I'm faced with endless options. To help with our decision-making, I will paint samples of the colors on the wall hoping one color will be "the one" that speaks to us.
OK, I've gone on enough about wall color. To keep things fun and interesting, I am offering a one-year's subscription to Do-It-Yourself magazine.
Simply leave a comment between now and 8pm Eastern time tomorrow where I will randomly select a winner to share in a passion for magazines, home decor and doing it yourself.
