Home improvement is something I have become very passionate about. And I'm learning to conquer my fears of doing it myself by taking-on small projects around our home, like our coat closet project.
Last night, my passions were reinvigorated when I listened to BeJane's presentation at the Capitol Home & Garden show. Motivating and encouraging women that home improvement is not to be feared and is something we all can do if we set our mind to it. Of course motivation is key.
I was most excited about getting the opportunity to meet Heidi and Eden and sharing the enthusiasm we have for our homes and for home improvement. Who would imagine that a group of women would be discussing miter saws, stud finders and drill bits. It was all fun and intriguing for a gal like me to meet those that inspire you. And BeJane is a big inspiration to me.
And now I am even more inspired having acquired this great pink tool belt!
My current blog banner features a bottle of 2005 Octagon Virginia Historic Red by Barboursville Vineyards in Virginia. They reproduced the floor plan of the Governor James Barbour mansion, designed by Thomas Jefferson.
I am passionate about all things design & interior-related and am always fine-tuning our home. Magazines, design books, blogs and social media are a means to which I attempt to fulfill my desire for creating and nesting.
In no way do I intend to misrepresent anyone and/or businesses that deserve recognition featured on my personal blog.
May you enjoy this journey along with me as I discover what makes my world-go-round.
