One event I do not want to miss is the Capital Home & Garden Show at the Dulles Expo on February 22-25. I enjoy the ideas, inspiration and the ability to consult with home improvement specialists. Mostly, it's eye-candy for my decorating soul.
And what I'm really excited about are the ladies of Be Jane will be there as well as Vern Yip, who is from McLean....had no idea.
I recently purchased Be Jane's book and love the concept of a home improvement/repair book for women. You also read stories of women and their home improvement projects and desires for future projects.
After reading this book, I feel like I can take on just about any home improvement project. And working with tools is so empowering. I'm even looking forward to playing with my hubby's new miter saw.
